A total of 21 students from elementary schools (SD) in the village of Bandar Khalipah, District Percut Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang regency, North Sumatra, suffered poisoning after eating the meatballs in the school canteen.

PT Pertamina (Persero) bekerja keras untuk terus membenahi stasiun pengisian bahan bakar umum (SPBU) di Jabodetabek agar dapat menjual bahan bakar minyak (BBM) non subsidi jenis Pertamax.
Data Pertamina per 21 Desember 2010 menyebutkan, dari 720 SPBU di Jabodetabek, sudah ada 551 SPBU yang telah menjual Pertamax.
Direktur Utama Pertamina, Karen Agustiawan, menjelaskan SPBU yang berpotensi mengalihkan tangki pendam ke Pertamax berjumlah 128 SPBU. Sedangkan yang memerlukan investasi tangki berjumlah 41 SPBU.
